The Tyme 2 license servers will be switched off on 01.01.2026, and we're officially ending support for Tyme 2 on this day, but you still can use Tyme 2 offline.

Note that Tyme 2 hasn't been updated since 2019 and could possibly crash or have undefined behaviour for macOS versions greater than 11.0.

If Tyme 2 is not recognizing your current license, you can refresh your license using the tool below. Please make sure, you have the last version of Tyme 2 (v2019.21) installed.

Notice: Please do not open the license screen in Tyme 2, it will try to refresh the license and will fail.
Tyme 2 Offline Apple License Convert Tool
  • Locate Tyme2.app in Applications
  • Right click > Show Contents
  • Navigate to Tyme2.app/Contents/_MASReceipt
  • Copy the file 'receipt' to your Desktop
  • Open Tyme 2 and navigate to Preferences > Support
  • Click on the (i) icon in the top right
  • Click the version number v2019.21
  • The Device ID has been copied to your clipboard now
  • Paste the Device ID in the form below and upload the 'receipt' file
  • Click on convert
  • Open Finder > Go > Go To Folder > ~/Library/Containers/de.lgerckens.Tyme2/Data/Library/Application Support/
  • Replace the Tyme2.license with the new one you just downloaded
  • Start Tyme 2

  • Open Tyme 2 and navigate to Preferences > Support
  • Click on the (i) icon in the top right
  • Click the version number v2019.21
  • The Device ID has been copied to your clipboard now
  • Paste the Device ID in the form below and enter your serial number and email
  • Click on convert
  • Open Finder > Go > Go To Folder > ~/Library/Containers/de.lgerckens.Tyme2/Data/Library/Application Support/
  • Replace the Tyme2.license with the new one you just downloaded
  • Start Tyme 2
